Reminder: There will be no school on Monday, February 17, 2025, in honor of Presidents' Day, also known as George Washington’s Birthday! 🎉 Classes will resume on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

🧐 Did you know?
Presidents' Day used to always be observed on February 22, George Washington's actual birthday. But in 1968, Congress changed it to the third Monday in February to create a three-day weekend!

👉 "One of the provisions of this act changed the observance of Washington's Birthday from February 22nd to the third Monday in February. Ironically, this guaranteed that the holiday would never be celebrated on Washington's actual birthday," according to the National Archives.

🎩 Abraham Lincoln’s birthday is also in February (Feb. 12), so his legacy is celebrated alongside Washington’s on this day!
